Volkswagen has launched a limited edition Vento Konekt. This trim of the Vento sedan gets entertainment and connectivity equipment and is available on the Comfortline and Highline variants of the Vento.

The Konekt package includes a Blaupunkt infotainment system, with GPS navigation and hands-free, Bluetooth-enabled telephony. Integrated into the centre console, it features a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen, the latest Igo-Navtech maps for navigation, USB connectivity and iPhone/iPod compatibility.

The Konekt package also includes a rear-seat entertainment system, which features an Android-powered Bluetooth-enabled 8-inch Blaupunkt tablet with 3G-compatibility, dual-SIM functionality and Wi-Fi capability. These tablets let rear-seat occupants have access to things like live television, internet radio, weather updates, stockmarket feeds, social media apps, Google Maps and 3G video calling.

Leather seat covers and 'Konekt' badging on the boot and scuff plates complete the Konekt package.

There are no mechanical changes.
