In a bid to create a buzz before the launch of its Zest compact sedan, Tata Motors has started to use a Zest draped in product branding livery for special marketing activities across major cities in India. This particular Zest was snapped by our reader Mohit Srivastav in Mumbai and hence only select portions of it are visible.

Unlike other soon-to-be-launched vehicles which are usually driven on public roads with a lot of camouflage, this Zest is devoid of any. It is only draped in white paper with the product name printed all over. As a result, the exterior styling cues are easily visible.

The Tata Zest will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The Zest diesel will also come with the option of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).

Tata Motors is upgrading its dealer network across the country. It had recently announced that it will be recruiting over 3,000 new staff across dealerships. Tata Motors also claims to be working on improving its service network. Bookings for the Zest have not yet started.
