Official images of the upcoming Range Rover Evoque convertible navigating its way through the company’s proving ground have been released. Land Rover has also confirmed that the convertible SUV will make its global debut at the  Los Angeles motor show in November 2015.

In an official statement, Land Rover chief engineer Mike Cross said that the upcoming Evoque Convertible would “deliver a dynamic and assured SUV experience” thanks to the use of innovative and advanced technologies. He described the upcoming SUV as 'The Convertible for all Seasons'.

A few days earlier, the company previewed the upcoming SUV with a series of six full-scale computer-modelled aluminium wireframe models on the streets of London. The wireframe installations, designed by JLR's Design team, included details such as seats, wheels and a three-dimensional steering to give the public an accurate representation of the upcoming convertible.

Land Rover had confirmed the convertible SUV at the Geneva motor show this year, by revealing official images of the test mule. The carmaker had previously hinted at a possible convertible Evoque with a concept having been showcased way back in 2012. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be built alongside the five-door and coupé variants at the company’s Halewood plant and will go on sale internationally sometime early next year.
