Photographs of the new Porsche 911 GT3 have surfaced on the internet, ahead of the car's official reveal at the Geneva motor show.

No official details are available yet but unofficial sources state that the GT3 will be powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine good for around 450bhp.

The car will likely be fitted with a rapid-shifting dual-clutch PDK transmission, which will help the Porsche accelerate from 0-100kph in a claimed 4sec.

The 911 GT3 is expected to have a top speed of over 321kph.
