The arrival of the highly anticipated Honda Jazz is just around the corner. Prior to its launch on July 8, dealers across the country will begin accepting bookings for the hatchback. Although reported to begin on June 20, some dealers have already started taking bookings at amounts from Rs 30,000 to 50,000.
A very important model for the Japanese carmaker, the latest Jazz will take on the Hyundai i20 and the Volkswagen Polo. The new Jazz is also said to be heavily localised to keep the pricing competitive — something Honda couldn’t manage the last time around. Dealers expect the pricing to be in the range of Rs 5.5 - 8.5 lakh.
The new Honda Jazz comes in both petrol and diesel guise. There is also an option between a manual gearbox and a CVT automatic gearbox.
