Maruti announces service campaign for S-cross

Maruti has organised a service campaign for its S-cross variants (DDiS 200 and DDiS 320) in India. The carmaker has said that the campaign has been announced to inspect a "suspected fault resulting in seepage in the brake caliper".

As many as 20,427 units of the S-cross manufactured between April 20, 2015 and February 12, 2016
are part of this campaign. Maruti has requested S-cross owners to visit the Nexa website (nexaexperience.com) to ascertain if their vehicle is impacted.

Owners will have to fill in the chassis number (MA3 followed by the 14-digit alpha-numeric code) on the website. The chassis number is embossed on the vehicle ID plate and is also in the vehicle invoice/ registration documents.

The S-cross rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, the Honda BR-V and the Renault Duster and is priced starting at Rs 8.03 lakh for the base 1.3-litre model, going up to Rs 12.03 lakh for the top-spec 1.6-litre model.
