Mahindra has introduced a new variant of the new Scorpio called the Scorpio S4+. The Scorpio S4+ trim sits above the Scorpio S4 variant and gets additional safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt-reminder warning and panic brake indication. It also gets follow-me-home headlamps as standard.

While earlier, the Scorpio S4 trim was available with a shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, now, only the Scorpio S4+ is available with this option; the Scorpio S4 trim gets two-wheel drive. Like the Scorpio S2 and S4 trims, the S4+ comes with black side cladding and steel wheels as opposed to the body coloured cladding and alloys on higher variants.
