Infiniti boss Johan de Nysschen has resigned, just two years after taking the top job at Nissan's luxury arm, to become president of Cadillac.

De Nysschen, who was based at Infiniti's global headquarters in Hong Kong, will leave the company at the end of this month. He'll take up presidency at Cadillac at the beginning of August, reporting directly to GM boss Dan Ammann.
In the meantime, it is expected that Nissan boss Andy Palmer will take over at Infiniti until a successor is found.
