Hyundai’s newly launched i20 Active will be available in three variants: Base, S and SX. While the Base and S variants will be available with the option of either petrol or diesel engines, the SX variant will only be available with the diesel engine.

These are the most prominent features of each variant:

Apart from the bare essentials, this entry-level variant also gets a few additional comfort features. Some of the basic features include halogen headlights, central locking, manual AC, a foldable key with an engine immobiliser system, a non-adjustable steering column, front and rear power windows, and a non height-adjustable driver’s seat.

However, Hyundai has also included additional features such as aluminium pedals, 15-inch alloy wheels, USB and 1GB internal storage with four speakers and front tweeters, a 2-DIN music system with AUX, rear AC vents and glovebox cooling even on the Base variant.

    Hyundai i20 Active S (Petrol – Rs 7.09 lakh, Diesel – Rs 8.34 lakh)

Along with all the features included in the Base variant, additional features on the S variant include rear parking sensors and a reverse camera that is integrated on the electro-chromatic mirror, driver airbag, fog lights, rear defogger, ABS, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights and cornering lights, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, electrically-adjustable and folding wing mirrors, height-adjustable driver’s seat, steering mounted controls, and a CD-player with rear tweeters and Bluetooth connectivity.

Hyundai i20 Active SX (Diesel – Rs 8.89 lakh)

The SX variant adds to the features of the S variant, ie it gets a passenger side airbag, chrome door handles, rear wiper and washer, a smart key with push button start, automatic headlights, a supervision cluster with steering position indicator, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, automatic AC, 60:40 split folding rear seat back, and a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel.
