Audi will launch the facelifted A6 sedan on August 20. The refreshed A6 will see styling modifications to the exterior along with minor changes to the interior.
The A6 facelift gets revised bumpers, a tweaked grille, Matrix LED headlamps, dynamic turn indicators with sweeping function in the direction of the turn, revised tail-lamps and side skirts, and a restyled exhaust.
Inside, the facelift comes with new upholstery and trim colour options and the latest generation of Audi’s infotainment system. However, we cannot be sure of the upholstery and interior trim options that will make its way into the facelifted car for India.
Internationally, the A6 facelift utilises a new and revised family of engines. The facelifted car for the Indian market is expected to retain its current range of engines. This means that the facelifted A6 is likely to be powered by the 177bhp 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine and the 174bhp 2.0-litre TDI diesel motor.
The Audi A6 rivals the likes of the Mercedes E-class and the BMW 5-series.
