The sixth edition of the Valley Run, organized by Elite Octane INC came to an end on April 15, 2018. Held at the Aamby Valley air strip, near Lonavala, Maharashtra, the Valley Run is an FMSCI-approved drag racing event. Enthusiasts from all over the country came down to satisfy their need for speed and answer that one, important question – who is the fastest? This festival of speed witnessed over 450 entries spread across several car and bike categories. These included some vehicles with humble commuter engines, while others packed in some serious horsepower.

Setting the fastest time for the event was Mohd. Riyaz from Hyderabad, with his Yamaha R1 that blasted down the 402m strip of tarmac in just 9.686sec. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante driven by Rishad Dadachanji was the fastest car, with an elapsed time of 10.849sec. The fastest Indian car was a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive Skoda Octavia built by Tvara Performance and driven by Stephen Pachigalla from Vizag; it clocked 13.366sec.

This three-day adrenaline-filled weekend had it all; from Yamahas to Suzukis and from Volkswagens to Lamborghinis – an abundance of eye candy and roaring exhausts kept enthusiasts entertained, all through the event.
