Available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, petrol E200 'Edition E' is powered by a 2.0-litre, 181bhp four-cylinder motor. In terms of diesel power, the car gets the options of two engines. One is a 2.1-litre, 201bhp, four-cylinder motor in the E250 CDI 'Edition E', and the second option is a more powerful 261.5bhp, 3.0-litre V6 in the E350 CDI 'Edition E'.
To make the car stand out from its standard counterpart, the special edition models comes with ‘Edition E’ badging, an illuminated three-point star on the front grille, tweaked fibre-optic tail-lamps that flash during emergency braking, adaptive LED headlamps and an electric sunroof (standard).Inside, the E-class Edition E gets features such as a Comand system with an SD card-based Garmin navigation system and access to Mercedes-Benz apps, active park assist with rear camera, sporty pedals, illuminated door sills and electric adjust front seats with memory function. The E350 CDI additionally, gets a 360-degree camera, a Harman Kardon 14-speaker surround sound system and a rear seat entertainment system.
