Bentley Motors has unveiled a new iteration of its iconic ‘winged B’ emblem, which will debut on a brand-new concept car set to break cover next week. As the fifth redesign of the winged B in Bentley’s 106-year history, the new emblem adopts a sharper, more future-facing aesthetic that will adorn every future model from the British luxury carmaker.
- New Bentley logo features more angular wings and a sharper profile
- Central 'B' gets a bevelled glass edge finish with a thicker metal surround
- Latest Bentley logo will debut on a new concept car that previews fresh design language
New Bentley logo details
Most substantial redesign of original Bentley motif to date
The new Bentley logo is claimed to be “the biggest change” to the winged B emblem since its inception in 1919 and subsequent redesigns in 1931, 1990s, and 2002. Designed in-house by a team working under Bentley design director Robin Page, the new logo is more rakish and angular than the outgoing design, and is symbolic of an “exciting future” for the luxury carmaker.
Inspired by peregrine falcons
Speaking to our sister publication, Autocar UK, Page likened the wings in the outgoing Bentley logo to those of an owl – softer, more layered, and with an extra tuft of feathers underneath. In comparison, Page stated that the new Bentley logo is more akin to a peregrine falcon, with a sharper, edgier, and more streamlined wing profile – all to signify speed.
Central ‘B’ features luxury watch-like design cues
For the updated central ‘B’ in the new emblem, Page turned to the realm of luxury watches for inspiration. As a result, the flatter ‘B’ of the outgoing logo has been eschewed in favour of a bevelled glass piece surrounded by a thicker chamfered metallic band. He also took into account standalone usage of the ‘B’ (without the wings) on social media and other digital platforms, and ensured that it remains as clear and recognisable as possible.
New Bentley concept car
To be revealed on July 8
Alongside the new winged B logo, Bentley teased the debut of an all-new concept car on July 8, 2025. This upcoming concept will wear the new emblem and preview a fresh design language for Bentley’s future models, including the carmaker’s first EV. It will also draw inspiration from an unspecified but iconic “Bentley of the past.”
A teaser video provided by Bentley partially shows off the concept’s fascia, which features illuminated X-shaped inserts and a thick vertical LED strip going down the middle. The new winged B logo – illuminated and encased in a trapezoidal black section – can be observed sitting atop those design elements.
