Audi is set to launch the new 2015 Audi TT in India on April 23, 2015.
The new Audi TT is based on VW’s MQB platform featuring extensive use of aluminium, making the new variant 50kg lighter than its outgoing one. The new car will also feature styling cues from the Audi Prologue concept with the larger grille, angular headlamps and large air-ducts. The car will get a new digital display that will double up as the infotainment and navigation system.
Here, the new TT will be available only in the 45TFSI trim, and will be powered by a 227bhp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor, mated to a six-speed gearbox. It will use Audi’s Quattro system.
The prices haven’t been revealed yet, but expect the car to cross the Rs 60-lakh mark.
