Just like the standard and Azure variants, the S trim uses a twin-turbo 4-litre V8 and a 25.9kWh plug-in-hybrid setup, belting out peak outputs of 680hp and 930Nm. However, the latter takes 3.7 seconds to do a 0-100kph sprint, topping out at 308kph. The respective figures for the standard and Azure are 3.9 seconds and 270kph.

In the Flying Spur Speed and Mulliner, the plug-in hybrid powertrain develops 782hp and 1,000Nm. Both hit the 100kph mark from rest in 3.5 seconds, while top speed is 308kph.

In electric-only mode, peak outputs drop to 190hp and 450Nm, and the battery provides a single-charge range of 80km, as per Bentley. All Bentley Flying Spur models get an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive layout. The S also gets the active anti-roll bars and dampers from the Speed and Mulliner models, which the carmaker claims have been tuned to deliver maximum sporting appeal and ability.
