Audi India has kickstarted the 2016 season of its Sportscar Experience (ASE) driving programme, at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida. First launched in 2012, the initiative allows Audi sportscar owners to experience Audi’s sportscars on a race track. Audi’s sportscar range includes cars like the S5 Sportback, TT Coupé, RS 6 Avant, and the RS 7 Sportback.

The two-phase programme comprises ‘Audi Sportscar Experience’ and ‘Audi Sportscar Experience Advanced’. The ‘Audi Sportscar Experience’ focuses on sharpening a driver’s skills such as handling, steering and braking under the guidance of an instructor, one sector of the racetrack at a time, while the ‘Advanced’ level focuses on understanding racing lines and over and under steering.

This year’s participants included celebrities like race driver Aditya Patel, Shuchir Suri, founder of Food Talk India; designer Nishka Lulla, Suchita Salwani, founder of Little Black Book, photographer Bhumika Bhatia and SodaBottleOpenerWala chef, Anahita Dhondy.

“Audi Sportscar Experience programme has become extremely successful over the past few years with an increasing number of automobile enthusiasts out there who like to sample the adrenaline rush and excitement of driving an Audi sportscar on a race track, but have not had the chance to do so. ASE offers an exclusive and unforgettable driving experience of the majestic sportiness and strength of an Audi and the physical limits of vehicle handling," said Joe King, head, Audi India.
