Reise tourRad Adventure touring tyres launched from Rs 3,099

Reise has launched its new tourRad adventure touring tyre range, starting at Rs 3,099. Positioned as an 80:20 road-biased ADV tyre, the tourRad is aimed at riders who spend most of their time on highways and twisty roads, with occasional off-road use. The range uses a radial construction for the rear tyres, paired with non-radial front tyres.

1. Reise tourRad features a block-pattern tread with wider grooves
2. Rear tyre sizes range from 110-section to 150-section
3. Prices start at Rs 3,099 for the front tyre and Rs 4,599 for the rear tyre

Reise tourRad tyres launched: What to expect?

The rear tyre gets a radial construction

The tourRad features a block-pattern tread with wider grooves designed to improve traction on loose surfaces while aiding water dissipation in wet conditions, reducing aquaplaning risk. Reise says the rock-inspired tread pattern also contributes to durability and off-road capability, while a dual-radius cavity profile ensures a more consistent contact patch both upright and at lean.

The rear radial tyres incorporate a steel belt to maintain stability at high speeds and ensure a consistent footprint, while a stiff carcass structure is aimed at improving handling under load and during aggressive cornering. The compound uses a high-silica mix with specialised resins to enhance wet and dry grip, improve braking performance and deliver more uniform wear over long distances. Reise claims that during its testing at NATRAX, the tourRad recorded shorter braking distances than competing tyres in dry conditions.

The tourRad range is available in multiple sizes for popular adventure and touring motorcycles. Prices start at Rs 3,099 for the 90/90-21 front tyre and go up to Rs 6,999 for the 150/70 R17 rear, with other sizes positioned in between.
