Ultra Motor Company has launched two new electric scooters, Ultra Fun and Ultra Shakti. Both the scooters fall under the low speed category and would not require any registration or license.
Developed and manufactured by an international team of expert designers and engineers, Fun and Shakti are state-of-the-art E-Scooters designed and built specifically for urban commuters.
The Ultra Fun is a low speed vehicle with 250W motor. Its top speed is 25 kmph and has a range of 70 km with a single charge. The Ultra Fun weighs just 82 kg and this makes it easy to handle & ride. This model is more likely to be targeted towards the ladies, house wives and school going kids. Initially it will be available in black, red & silver colours. Metallic Purple would be introduced at a later stage.
Ultra Shakti, as the name suggests, signifies power. This is a low speed vehicle with 250W motor with gears. This is the first electric scooter with gears and is meant for high terrain biking. Ultra Shakti comes with the ability to climb the gradients with ease. It can catch up speeds of 25 kmph and can be run for 65 km on a single charge. It will be available in red and black colours. With this powerful geared electric scooter, the company hopes to target the youngsters, elderly men and ladies.
The batteries on both the scooters are similar and can be completely charged within 6-8 hours.
