The MV Agusta Brutale 800 returns for 2026 with minor updates. The company had earlier confirmed that the next-generation Brutale, powered by an all-new 950cc 3-cylinder engine, will be unveiled at EICMA, which starts next week. However, the launch of the 2026 Brutale 800 suggests it will continue to be the brand’s entry-level street-naked for the foreseeable future.

Brings minor updates over previous model

The Brutale 800 carries forward the same 798cc 3-cylinder engine, but it now meets Euro 5+ emission standards. Peak output figures are 113hp at 11,000rpm and 85Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a bidirectional quickshifter.

Suspension is handled by a 43mm Marzocchi USD fork and a Sachs rear monoshock, both fully adjustable for preload, compression and rebound damping. Braking hardware includes Brembo M4.32 front calipers clamping down on 320mm discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. As before, the Brutale 800 gets a comprehensive electronics suite governed by a 6-axis IMU, which manages traction control, cornering ABS and rear-wheel lift mitigation. You also have access to four riding modes – Rain, Sport, Race and Custom – that you can access via a 5.5-inch TFT display.
