Under its Sewa initiative, MG has handed over a retrofitted Hector ambulance to the Chinmaya Centre of World Understanding in Delhi. Based on the 2025 MG Hector, the ambulance is transformed into an emergency response vehicle, replete with an auto-loading stretcher, an oxygen supply system with a cylinder, a medicine cabinet with a five-parameter monitor, a fire extinguisher, an exterior light bar with a siren and amplifier, an inverter with a battery and sockets and additional interior lighting. The ambulance will be utilised for on-site readiness during education programmes and residential camps for quick emergency care and safe patient transport. Previously, another Hector ambulance was donated to a hospital in Gujarat during the COVID-19 pandemic, and 100 Hector SUVs were donated for use by personnel who provided essential services during the lockdown period.
