Indian Motorcycles’ latest bike to hit India is none other than its flagship, the Roadmaster.
The design features the company’s retro front-fender design.
The Roadmaster has been built on the same platform as the Indian Chieftain.
The illuminated War Bonnet has graced nearly all of Indian Motorcycles’ front fenders since 1947.
Features include a 200W audio system, tyre pressure monitors, cruise control, and a cup holder just to name a few.
The Roadmaster has extremely relaxed highway-style handlebars.
Forks are raked in further to 25 degrees.
Storage options include hard panniers on either side.
All combined, the Roadmaster has about 140 litres of weather-proof luggage capacity.
The 1,811cc air-cooled Thunder Stroke 111 V-twin motor makes 138.9Nm of torque and an unspecified amount of horsepower.
The enormous windshield on the front fairing is electrically adjustable.
The large trunk at the back can easily swallow two full-face helmets whole.
The trunk doubles up as an immense backrest for the pillion, and the luxurious rear seat also gets armrests.
The Roadmaster gets the typical massive touring kit that you see on bikes such as the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
The Roadmaster weighs a whopping 421kg (dry).
