The Ducati Diavel V4 RS 100 draws its livery from the 1979 900 Replica – the first road-going replica of a Ducati racing bike, born out of the brand's victory at the 1978 Isle of Man TT. Following that win, Ducati produced a series of motorcycles evoking the livery of the 900 that had triumphed on the iconic mountain course, resulting in the 900 Replica's distinctive green and red finish with white stripes. It was also the first time Ducati used what would later become recognised as an almost Italian-style colour scheme. The 900 Replica remained in production for five years. The Diavel V4 RS 100 is based on the Diavel V4 RS, and is limited to just 100 individually numbered units. As part of the Ducati Collezione 100, it adds an Alcantara seat with an embroidered Ducati 100 logo, a machined-from-solid handlebar centre with the serial number on a Centenary Bronze riveted plate, and a fuel cap rim in the same finish.
