2018 VolksWeekend Rally image gallery

VolksWeekend 2018 was the biggest classic VW rally ever held in India.
Over 50 classic Volkswagens were part of the weekend drive, in Goa.
Several iterations of the VW Bus were in attendance.
Ryan Oberoi’s 1967 split-window Bus – finished in yellow - was a hit with the crowds.
Viveck Goenka’s 1952 Beetle – the oldest Beetle in India – has undergone a concours-quality restoration.
It even comes with its very own dash-mounted coffee maker, which runs off of a six-volt power outlet.
Mumbai’s Sangram Shirke brought his Westfalia Bus, while Dr Althea Barbosa’s immaculately maintained 1600 was a hit with the crowds.
Subashish Dutta brought in his well-maintained Golf from Pune.
Viveck Goenka’s beige 1956 Beetle got a chance to meet its original owner, who lives in Goa!
Anoop Thakur’s dual-tone Beetle strikes a pose alongside Allan Almeida’s turquoise blue Beetle.
Hanosh Mascarenhas’ red Beetle gives company to Durai Mohan V’s blue-and-silver Beetle, which came in from Chennai.
Mumbai’s Carlos Ribeiro brought in his red drop-top Beetle, which attracted plenty of eyeballs.
Zita Goenka’s Beetle handbag added colour to the proceedings.
Ashish Naik drove in his Bus from Mumbai.
Dileep Shetye’s family has owned this lovely black Beetle since 1959!
Shrinivas Thakur’s Type 34 Karmann Ghia is an incredibly rare car, and the only functioning one in India.
Rick & Joel Rodrigues attended VolksWeekend in their tastefully modded Beetle.
It was a mesmerising sight, with so many classic VWs taking to Goa’s streets.
On the second day, the cars assembled at the Panjim Gymkhana.
This rare Beetle limo features artwork created by famed cartoonist, Mario Miranda.
