Me and My Cars: Damandeip Singh Chadha

What are you driving and why?

I am driving a C63 AMG (W204). It’s the perfect car for doing burnouts, drifting or even just driving hard. In a span of four years, the car has burnt through over 60 rear tyres and 12 front tyres.

What’s next on your wish list?

I haven’t decided yet but I’d like it to be naturally aspirated and have a minimum of 10 cylinders. I already own the best naturally-aspiratedflat-six (Porsche Boxster GTS) and best V8 (AMG C63).

The most fun you’ve had in a car?

When I was fairly new at drifting and would try to push and push the car so I could get better at it.

    Favourite money-no-object car?

    Mazda 787 B four-rotor.

Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?

    Ayrton Senna.

    Favourite road?

The ice track at Arjeplog. I had gone for the AMG ice drive and the experience just blew me away.

What’s next on your automotive bucket list?

Drifting down mountain roads in Japan (touge) with the best drifters, as well as professionally competing in reverse entry drifts.

What would you do with your last litre of fuel?

Save it for a time before I die so I can hear the engine growl one last time!

Your ideal five-car garage would be?

    1. Mazda 787 B

    2. Pagani Zonda R

    3. McLaren P1 GTR

    4. Koenigsegg Agera R

    5. Koenigsegg Regera

    What was your first car?
