What is the price of the TVS Orbiter V1?
The TVS Orbiter V1 is priced at Rs 84,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi, inclusive of PM e-Drive subsidy), but you can have it for as low as Rs 49,999 if you opt for the BaaS scheme. This makes it about Rs 15,000 more affordable than the Orbiter V2 priced at Rs 99,900.
What battery and range does the TVS Orbiter V1 offer?
The Orbiter V1 is equipped with a 1.8kWh battery pack, with a claimed IDC range of 86km. For reference, the Orbiter V2 comes with a 3.1kWh battery with an IDC range of 158km. While the smaller battery pack translates to a notably lower range figure, it also means charging times have reduced to a claimed 2 hours and 20 minutes for 0-80 percent charge, while the battery on the Orbiter V2 will take 4 hours and 10 minutes.
What features does the TVS Orbiter V1 come with?
The Orbiter V1 has been carried over from the Orbiter V2 unchanged in terms of features. This includes a coloured LCD cluster that, along with a mobile app, enables turn-by-turn navigation, over-the-air updates, and safety alerts, including anti-theft, crash, and geo-fencing notifications. It also gets Eco and Power modes, hill-hold assist, parking assist (reverse function), and cruise control.
What is the storage capacity of the TVS Orbiter V1?
The Orbiter V1 features 34 litres of underseat storage and an 845mm long flat seat, identical to the Orbiter V2. In our tests, we found that the underseat storage can accommodate two half face helmets. The scooter also gets a small storage area at the front and a USB charging port situated under the dash.

The primary difference between the two variants is the battery size. The V1 features a 1.8kWh battery pack with 86km IDC range, while the V2 comes with a 3.1kWh battery offering 158km IDC range. The charging time on the V1 is quicker at 2 hours 20 minutes (0-80 percent) compared to 4 hours 10 minutes on the V2. Both scooters share the same features, design, 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel setup.
