I own a Hero Xpulse 200 4V and want to upgrade to a bigger adventure bike. I recently test-rode a 450 and liked its power and ride comfort. Could you suggest other suitable options in this budget, and should I wait until next year to purchase?

The Himalayan 450 is a good upgrade. There was a new Mana Black variant of the Himalayan 450 unveiled at EICMA 2025, which gets accessories to make it more rugged, along with cross-spoked wheels. Other ADVs you can check out are the KTM 390 Adventure X and the TVS RTX 300. We expect the BMW F 450 GS to be launched in India next year, and that looks really promising. We suggest you take a test ride of all bikes before making a purchase.
