It feels premium inside and out, has a comfortable ride and offers enough space for four to five adults, although it is not as spacious as the Tata Sierra. Kia also has a well-established after-sales network, which should help address your concerns about long-term ownership.The Seltos's naturally aspirated 1.5 litre petrol engine is refined and, paired with the IVT automatic, delivers smoother performance in everyday driving than the Sierra's 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol with DCA. The Seltos also feels more responsive, particularly when you need to accelerate for an overtake. Its five-star crash test rating is another plus, while higher variants offer features such as a 360-degree camera.

Given your limited driving, a diesel car does not make financial sense.
