I am planning to buy my very first bike. My daily commute to college would be around 15km, inclusive of city as well as highway riding. I will be travelling to my hometown, Mumbai once every month from Pune. I have narrowed down my choices to Yamaha’s FZ-16, considering ride comfort and an overall mileage of 40-45kpl. Would this make a good choice for me, as maintenance costs and comfort are my top priorities?

AAA We suggest you go ahead with your choice of bike, the Yamaha FZ-16, as this will satisfy all your requirements, and isn’t all that uncomfortable a bike to cover distances on.
In the event you do still wish for a little more comfort from your bike, we suggest you consider the 150cc Yamaha Fazer, essentially the same motorcycle, with a more comfortable riding position.
