Can you please suggest which bike is better overall: the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 or the TVS Apache RTX 300?

The TVS Apache RTX 300 is a faster, more modern, feature-rich and capable machine than the Suzuki V-Strom SX. If you value performance and features, then the RTX is definitely the bike more likely to be up your alley. However, if most of your riding is in the city and you value a hassle-free, no-nonsense experience then the V-Strom will be the one that will appeal to you. While they sit in similiar price segments, the RTX and V-Strom aren't directly comparable and we'd advise you to take a test ride of both before you make your decision.

Don't buy the RTX 300,don't fall prey for the looks, got too much vibrations on the seat, footpegs and handle bar, some bike owners report quick shifter issues and the visor should be little bigger isn't functional against wind deflection and tank size should be atleast 15 litres capacity considering it as a ADV ! More issues than a happy biking experience at TVS these almost after 2023 models 😢 Someone's engine was replaced under warranty after 170 kms 💔

@user_h4ijxo18 zvman even suzuki Vstrom has vibration and Tvs have have less vibration because I have took test drive from stranger even took Vstrom test drive Vstrom have 12litre and rtx is 12.5 litre and rtx is comfortable like Bmw gs 310 g Rtx is Best Bik in the segment because feature and specs In Ad 15 litre tank is offered by himalayan and ktm adv only

V-strom is far better for dual purpose, City + Long rides. Best bike in this segment. No headache for after sales for suzuki as they support in all aspects. TVS aftersales is very poor

Let's compare Man Every Bike have pros and cons because nits entry level Bike these Vstrom and rtx 300 But go for rtx 300 nice comfort seats they Every single cylinder have vibrations for all day drive Rtx 300 Good or wait for xpulse 421.yeah Like Auto car India said take test drive Because it your own taste and both bike riding ergonomics are different even slightly different with power but more feature and specs there in these price if you want those feature you have to get ktm 390 adv if you have patience for waiting more Bike coming on the way may be better then rtx 300 and Vstrom Suzuki engine is good even honda engines are good if you can able to save some money you can have Nx 500 or or beneli 502

I am planning to buy a new bike immediately, with a budget of up to Rs. 5 lakh. My typical usage includes weekday rides of 5-10 km and weekend rides of 125-150 km. Since you want comfort as a top priority in your next purchase, the two bikes that will deliver that much better than the others in your shortlist are the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the 350cc Triumph Scrambler 400 X. The Himalayan is more adept on the highway front, but the Scrambler is the better city bike, so depending on where you spend more time, pick between these two. The TVS Apache RTX 300 is a phenomenally capable bike (especially for the price), but its engine feels a little dull once you spend some time with it. If you are okay with that, then as an overall package, the TVS is quite hard to fault. If you decide you want something more road-biased, then the 350cc Triumph Speed 400 and Honda CB350RS are good options to consider. We'd skip the RE Meteor models because the Super Meteor has stiff rear suspension, and instead of the Meteor, look at the Classic / Bullet if you want more comfort with an old-school relaxed retro vibe. These are all very different machines within a broad price range, so depending on the segment you are looking at specifically, we'd advise you to take test rides of the options above and then make your decision.

I am planning to buy a 125cc scooter. I already own the new Suzuki Access. Should I go with the Honda Activa 125? What other scooters would you recommend? It will mostly be used within the city.

Since you already have a steadfast family scooter in the Suzuki Access 125, opting for another one of its ilk in the Honda Activa 125, which will give you more or less a very similar, if not identical, ownership experience, would be like going into a huge candy store and still opting to buy two of the same toffees when there's so much variety to be had.We'd recommend you change things up a little and opt for the TVS Ntorq 125. It is a fun, engaging, and sporty-feeling scooter, yet it does not compromise on practicality, comfort, or everyday convenience.

Hi everyone, I am planning to buy my first car. I will be driving around 40km daily in the city, along with occasional highway trips of around 300 km to nearby cities. Some of these highway journeys will involve hilly areas, while the roads in smaller cities can have potholes and rough patches. I am looking for an automatic transmission, with a budget of around Rs 12–14 lakh. Good mileage, safety features and overall value for money are my main priorities. The options currently on my list are the Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi AT, Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 AT, Kia Sonet HTK+ or HTK+ (O), and Hyundai Creta HX5 AT. However, I am mainly confused between the Brezza and the XUV 3XO and would appreciate some guidance on which one would be better suited to my requirements.

Both are solid choices, but the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 AT is the better fit for your usage. Your daily 40 km city commute, combined with occasional 300 km highway runs through hilly terrain and rough roads, demands a car with a strong engine, good ride quality and a robust build. The 3XO’s turbo petrol engine offers noticeably better performance than the Maruti Suzuki Brezza ZXi AT, especially on inclines and overtakes, while the suspension is well-tuned for rough roads and potholes. It is also one of the most spacious compact SUVs, making it a comfortable family car. One drawback is that the boot is on the smaller side for this segment.The Brezza is the more sensible long-term ownership choice with Maruti’s service reach and reliability, but its naturally aspirated petrol engine feels underpowered on highways and hills. It makes up for it by offering better fuel efficiency than the 3XO, particularly in the city. The Kia Sonet HTK+ and Hyundai Creta HX5 are good alternatives, but the 3XO offers a better balance of performance, space and value for money.

I am a new rider and am planning to buy the new Honda Rebel with the e-Clutch as my first bike. Should I go for the Rebel 300 or wait for the Rebel 500 which is expected to launch next February? I do not want a heavy bike like my brother's Super Meteor 650. I just want something cool and fun to ride. Also, will I be comfortable on a Rebel as I am 6 feet tall?

If this is to be your very first motorcycle, it makes more sense to go for the smaller Honda Rebel 300 over the bigger 500, although the 500 can also work as your first bike if you plan to keep it for many years but the learning curve will be quite steep in the initial days of your motorcycling journey. Both the Rebel models are much lighter than the comparable Royal Enfield bike so weight really isn't the issue. Coming to whether you will fit on the Rebel, we can't yet comment on that as we haven't been able to spend some quality seat time on either of them. We suggest you wait until both are available in a showroom near you and take a test ride before you make a decision.

I want to buy an EV two-wheeler for my daughter after six months for local city usage in Chennai. She will turn 18 years old at that time. I have been using a Honda Unicorn for the past 10 years and am happy with it. I may also use the EV vehicle occasionally once I buy it. Can you suggest which EV vehicle or brand would be the best and most reliable? I have Ather, iQube, and Bajaj Chetak in mind, along with a few other EVs I have seen on the road but am not very familiar with. Or would you suggest going for a petrol vehicle instead? If an EV is not suitable, I am open to buying a petrol vehicle as well.

I am looking for a car that I can keep for the long term, around 8–10 years, with a budget of under Rs 15 lakh on-road in Bangalore. I would prefer an automatic with an SUV stance. A daily 15 km office commute with frequent bumper-to-bumper traffic, along with occasional highway trips, is better suited to a CVT than a DCT. CVTs are smoother at low speeds and work well in stop-start traffic. They can also be less demanding in such conditions over the long term.DCTs can be reliable when maintained properly, but they are not the ideal choice for regular stop-start traffic. Repeated low-speed crawling can generate heat and accelerate clutch-pack wear, potentially leading to expensive repairs over time.The Kiger also offers a modern design, a spacious cabin and a good feature set for its price. Renault's after-sales service has improved in recent years, while the Kiger offers strong value for money in this segment.
