•20wHello - I’ve moved to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and I’m planning to buy a new car by the end of December to get maximum discounts. My on-road budget is up to ₹15 lakh. My usage will be about 50 km per week, and I need good ground clearance because the roads here are poor. I’m unsure whether to pick an EV or an ICE car, and I don’t know if I should wait for any upcoming updates or facelifts (I noticed the Venue N Line was recently released). Please advise on the best option and whether I should wait or buy now.

The new Hyundai Venue is an excellent choice which packs in all the modern tech and features. You may or may not opt for the N Line version, which adds cosmetic bits over the regular Venue to give it a sporty look and feel.
Also, check out the Maruti Victoris. It is a larger, more spacious car, than the Hyundai Venue, and its suspension makes it more comfortable too.
For your limited usage, it is better to opt for a petrol, since the premium you pay for an EV and its low running cost, will not be justified.
