I booked for the Renault R-pass but planning to cancel due to the rear comfort. But litttle confused between Kia Seltos HTK(O) 1.5 NA Petrol MT and Renault Duster Techno 1.3 Turbo Petrol MT as they both are similar price around 17.5 lakhs on road thought I need to spend some more on duster to add Leather seat cover, front sensor, spare wheel, etc. My usage will be mostly in City and sometimes on a family trip to Hill station or through Highway. I have test driven both, the duster felt more power and Kia Seltos was comfort. I m planning to buy this car on my office leased car option, so will be selling them after 4 years anyway. Help me clarify which one to buy. I m looking for a family car with good resale value after 4 years.

Since you already felt the Kia Seltos was more comfortable, we would recommend you go ahead with it, as it does have a more spacious and comfy rear seat experience. The Renault Duster offers a more engaging drive experience, and it excels on highways and twisty mountain ghats; however, since your driving is mostly in the city, this is not something that you would be able to appreciate. The Seltos is easy to drive in traffic with light controls and good all-around visibility. Furthermore, Kia’s service network is wider, and previous generation Seltos' have good resale value.

I booked Creta base petrol at price of 11.3 lac including insurance+bh passing, but later adding missing accessories worth 80-100k. Shall I go ahead with Creta or Seltos. But frankly speaking I love Creta Look design

I have a Honda city DX which is now 19yrs old I would still like to keep it for next 10yrs however as per government rules I have no choice but to scrap it and buy a new one. I have shortlisted the top end Skoda Kliaq. Question is there anything coming up from VW in the same range. I drive only in south Mumbai very rarely I touch suburbs and exiting city is next to impossible we are 2 I love power in the car I have a back problem hence a slightly elevated vehicle is the need compared to a sedan and Ofcourse before I die I want to own a German vehicle. Please advise.

I am currently confused between the Kia Seltos CVT Petrol and the Tata Sierra Petrol Manual. After test driving both cars, I found the Sierra’s fit and finish, interior quality, and overall polish to be noticeably behind the Seltos. However, most automotive reviews and magazines seem to be praising the Sierra very highly, which has made the decision more confusing for me. I am also slightly concerned about Tata’s long-term reliability, service experience, and whether the Sierra will age as well as rivals like the Seltos over the years. Please advice.

The Tata Sierra deserves the praise because it does a lot right. It is spacious, practical, has a strong road presence, and from a pure packaging point of view, it is an impressive product. But if your concern is long-term ownership confidence, consistency in quality and overall longevity, the Kia Seltos is the safer bet.The Seltos simply feels more polished and more mature as a product. Interior quality is better, the CVT automatic is smooth and stress-free in daily use, and Kia’s ownership experience and long-term consistency inspire more confidence than Tata currently does. That does not mean the Sierra is a bad car, but if you are the kind of buyer who notices panel fit, switch quality and overall finish, the Kia will likely keep you happier over time. The Sierra’s advantages are space and the fact that it feels like the newer, more interesting product. But if this is a rational long-term purchase and not an emotional one, we would pick the Seltos CVT.
