Hi, I am planning to bring my family back to my work location, and the drive is around 380-400 km. I have a 2023 Kia Seltos. There is a 4-month-old daughter, and she needs adequate rest and feeding, mostly while lying down. I am planning to buy a car inflatable bed for this reason. Will it be safe, and which brand should I choose? If it's not safe, what other alternatives do I have?

We would strongly advise against using a car inflatable bed for a 4-month-old baby during a 400km drive. It is not a safe solution. At this age, the safest way for your daughter to travel is in a properly installed rear-facing child seat. These seats are specifically designed to protect infants in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and they provide the correct support for a baby's head, neck and spine. Some seats also slide over their base mount and can be put in a more vertical seating position or a more horizontal sleeping position. Your baby might make a fuss initially, but someone close to her needs to sit alongside and then they get used to this very soon as the seat shape makes them feel nice and cradled.
The best approach for a long journey like this is to plan regular stops every 1-2 hours. During these breaks, you can take your daughter out of the seat, allow her to feed and rest comfortably, and then continue the journey. It may make the trip longer, but it is the safest option by far.
If you do not already have a rear-facing child seat, invest in a good quality one that is compatible with your Seltos. Brands like Joie, Chicco, Graco and Britax are all reliable options. Safety should always take priority over convenience, especially with a baby this young.

I would like to know if the Kia Syros is worth a buy?
•52m
@roisteninto.1 Syros is a good car overall, but it depends on your need and budget. What are your looking specifically and what is your budget?
•50m
@abhinnashish My Budget is around 11 lakhs and looking for comfort, space and basically a feel good car.

@roisteninto.1 Yeah, Syros is a comfortable and spacious feel good car. But you will get lower-to-mid variants in your budget. And you will miss features like sunroof and ventilated seats.
