I have booked the Hyundai Creta Knight IVT Dual Tone, but I’m still unsure whether it’s the right choice or if I should have considered alternatives like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara or the Kia Seltos. However, I’m not particularly fond of the new design elements of the latest Seltos. The factors that matter most to me are value for money, good resale value after 5-6 years, long-term reliability, and comfort for family use. My monthly driving will be less than 1,000 km. Given these priorities, is the Creta Knight IVT a good choice, or would the Grand Vitara or Seltos have been a better option?

The Hyundai Creta King is a good choice. It is a well-rounded SUV that offers a comfortable ride, a spacious cabin, and a refined petrol engine. The IVT (automatic) is smooth and responsive. Being a popular model, you can expect good resale value in the future.

The Grand Vitara is also a good option, but it is not as spacious as the Creta. Hence, long distance comfort could be hampered.

I have heard that hundai has reenforced the k2 structure in the newer facelifts after 2022 crash test , and also they say that the new versions sold in India 2025 and 2026 are the one which scored 5 star in asain ncap.is that True

If you drive with speed limits you can get a decent numbers in mileage. But scorpion is a enthusiastic suv. If you change to any other mileage friendly suvs ot will be a downgrade.

My 80% running is in the city, approximately 60 km daily. I want a smooth gearbox, a smooth engine and reliability. I am confused between the Maruti Brezza petrol manual and the Hyundai Creta petrol manual.

The Maruti Brezza and the Hyundai Creta are both quite good in terms of refinement. The Hyundai Creta is more spacious, has a better-quality interior, and is more comfortable, and since you travel mostly in the city, the CVT automatic gearbox will be a better fit for you. It is responsive, smooth and well-suited to traffic, making it effortless in the city.The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is a bit smaller in size, especially on the inside, does not have the build and interior quality that the Creta gets, and the automatic gearbox isn't as smooth as the Creta's CVT. If you most definitely want a manual gearbox, the Creta is still the better choice as you get a more powerful engine and a better package overall.
