I am planning to upgrade from my Wagon R LXi Manual. My monthly running is around 2000km within city with moderate traffic. Please suggest an upgrade with good mileage and comfort.

With 2,000 km a month in city traffic, fuel efficiency and comfort become the top priorities. Consider the Maruti Suzuki Dzire for its superior comfort, larger boot, and exceptional fuel efficiency. It will feel like a proper upgrade over your outgoing car. If you're open to the idea of CNG, your running costs will be lower still, but be prepared to wait in long queues at CNG pumps. 

If you're open to other brands, a Tata Punch AMT CNG could be a good option as well. You get the practicality of a high riding SUV, convenience of an automatic, and the low running cost of a CNG, making it an excellent option for you.
