I want to buy a seven-seater vehicle. My usage is fairly limited, as my previous two cars have covered only 50,000 km in 10 years. I take a few outstation trips but mostly drive in the city. I need advice on whether the Clavis Turbo Petrol Automatic or the Clavis EV would be better for me. I am also willing to wait if the XUV700 is expected to launch in an EV version next year.

Considering your limited usage and predominantly city driving, the Kia Carens Clavis EV is a good choice. It costs around ₹2 lakh more for similar features, but as an EV, it is smooth, effortless to drive, and offers a comfortable ride quality. The Mahindra XUV700 EV (XEV 7e) still has no confirmed launch timeline.
