I am currently using TVS sport 2017 model. My daily commute 54 kms approx. I want to upgrade to 150 - 160 CC to make occasional long rides. I am confused to choose between top contenders. Kindly suggest me in this concern.

We'd suggest you take test rides of the 350cc KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 both to make sure you make an informed decision about your next adventure bike purchase. Both bikes have distinct strengths and are actually very different to ride. The KTM is lighter and more agile endowing it withbetter road manners. Its engine is nice to use if you enjoy riding spiritedly most of the time because it is fun to chase the redline and shift through the gears using the quickshifter. However, the KTMs are buzzy machines and the 390 Adventure's comfort isn't the benchmark today in the ADV category. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield bike is the more rounded and mature machine. It has superb ride comfort and gutsy performance but its weight and overall size aren't to everyone's liking - and its oddball design is quite polarizing too. However, the Himalayan is the better overall package in our opinion. A test ride will help you figure out which bike is better for your needs.

Short answer: not yet. India does not have a trade deal with the EU in force today, so prices of EU‑built bikes like BMW and Ducati stay under the current import taxes.If and when an EU deal gets signed and starts, prices could come down, but it will depend on the fine print. Most trade deals cut taxes slowly over a few years, sometimes only for a limited number of units each year. Bikes shipped fully built from Europe would likely see the smallest and slowest cuts. Bikes that come in as parts and are put together in India usually get bigger benefits, so those could drop more, if included.There are a few more wrinkles. Many big bikes already come from Thailand to use existing duty benefits, so an EU deal may not affect a vast majority of these manufacturer's portfolios. Exchange rates, shipping costs, GST and dealer costs also affect the final price, and brands may not pass the full tax cut on day one.So, expect any drop to be model‑specific and phased, not an overnight big cut.

If you want the highest level of comfort in this price bracket, there are primarily two options to look at - the Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 210 and the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The Xpulse will, of course, have the better ride quality of the two with its long travel suspension, but it's actually the Bullet which has the better rider's triangle and seat comfort. There are other factors at play here, too. The Xpulse is taller but lighter, while the Bullet has a lower seat but weighs nearly 200 kilos.A test ride of both will help you decide which is the best option between these two for you.
