•21wI’ve just learned to drive 20 days ago at a driving school and need an automatic car for commuting in Bengaluru traffic, around 40 km per day. My maximum budget is ₹10 lakh (on-road). The roads are very bad, and there’s a waterlogging issue. I’m not an enthusiast, just looking for a practical car.

Autocar India
We’d recommend shortlisting the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Tata Punch. All three offer good ground clearance and well-tuned suspension setups that handle rough roads around your area.
All three automatics are automated manual (AMT); however, if you can stretch your budget just over the 10 lakh mark, you can have the Magnite and Kiger with a much smoother CVT automatic and a more powerful turbo petrol engine too.
