Having made up my mind to pick up a cruiser motorcycle, I have my sight set on the Bajaj Avenger 220 DTS-i. Even though there are other cruiser bikes out there such as Royal Enfield’s Thunderbird and Bullet series, their bulk discourages me from purchasing them. Also, I would like to know if there are any cruiser bikes in the pipeline from companies such as Honda, UML, Hero or Yamaha, expected this year. Please let me know if I should wait or simply go in for the Bajaj Avenger 220 DTS-i?

AAA Yes, Bajaj plans to introduce a new bike called the CS 400 that will fit your requirements, with cruiser character, and a new, more powerful engine than the one available on the Avenger 220 DTS-i. As far as UML is concerned, we do have information that the brand will set up shop in Q2 2015. But there’s little else we can share about the bikes for now, as we are yet to ride them.
