TVS has launched an all-new racing championship for Apache owners, with the new series getting underway later this month. One overall winner will earn the chance to race in select rounds of the TVS One-Make Championship (with the race-spec Apache RR 310) and even attend a MotoGP race in person.

  1. First rounds in Vadodara (July 15), Surat (July 16), Hyderabad (July 16)
  2. Finale at Madras International Circuit in January 2024
  3. Winner will get to race in TVS One-Make Championship

TVS Apache Racing Experience GP Championship: Format

The new championship will span 20 cities across India and will only be open to Apache owners. It will be divided into three categories:

Category 1 – Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 180

Category 2 – Apache RTR 200 4V

Category 3 – Apache RR 310

A total of three winners will be selected from each city (one per category) and they’ll move on to the final round slated to be held at the Madras International Circuit in January 2024. These shortlisted participants will then compete on race-spec Apache RTR 200s and RR310s in the finale.

The overall winner will get to participate in two rounds of the TVS One-Make Championship Apache RR 310 as a wildcard entry. And that’s not all; they’ll also win an all-expenses paid trip to the Malaysia MotoGP round and some exclusive Petronas TVS Racing merchandise.

All participants will have to compete on their own motorcycles for the selection rounds.

The first set of selection rounds will be held in Vadodara (July 15), Surat (July 16) and Hyderabad (July 16). Further rounds will be announced soon. Those interested in participating can click here to register; the registration fee is Rs 1,500.

Each round will include a full day of training, theory and practical track sessions under the guidance of prominent TVS racers like multiple-time national champions Jagan Kumar and KY Ahamed, 2022 TVS Asian One Make Championship winner Vorapong Malahuan and FIM Baja Rally World Cup women’s title winner Aishwarya Pissay.

TVS says the aim of the championship is to help make racing even more accessible. The series is an extension of the Apache Racing Experience programme, which was started in 2007 to curate exclusive experiences for Apache owners.

With this championship, we are confident of setting new benchmarks by offering unique opportunities to our customers for an augmented experience when they associate with the brand,” says Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company.
