Renault India, in an attempt to revamp sales of its slow-selling Scala sedan and Pulse hatchback, has announced a new scheme whereby the RxL diesel trims of these two models are being made available at prices similar to the petrol versions. The carmaker says the offer will be on till stocks last.

On top of the discounted price, the company is also offering two years additional warranty and four years of free roadside assistance. While the Scala RxL is on offer at Rs 8.01 lakh, the Pulse RxL hatchback is priced at Rs 5.19 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). That's a discount of nearly a lakh on both the cars.

The Renault Duster RxL also has a discount on offer with the two-wheel drive 85PS version priced at Rs 9.29 lakh and the AWD 110PS one at Rs 11.29 lakh. Extended warranty and free roadside assistance is also available on the Renault SUV.
