Rides well at all speeds and is more entertaining to drive fast.

Doesn’t get the SYNC system; infotainment quite basic.

Knurled knobs for the climate control system look premium.

Rubberised dock on top of dashboard can hold mobile devices.

Instrument panel is small and looks unimpressive.

Blacked-out alloy wheels look nice;Figo S gets wider tyres too.

It absorbs road imperfections well; handling is safe, predictable.

5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment graphics are crisp.

Five-speed gearbox is crisp and has rifle-bolt-like action.

Climate control knobs and buttons are nicely laid-out, good to use.

GT gets non-slip pedals with rubber inserts.

The GT badge is the only giveaway of the Polo’s sporty intentions.
