Ford has launched a new EcoSport Platinum edition, with the car being shown to the public for the first time at the Autocar Performance Show 2017. The Platinum edition adds in more equipment, along with getting cosmetic tweaks, to differentiate itself from the standard model.

The EcoSport Platinum edition is available with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engines and is priced at Rs 10.39 lakh and Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.

In cosmetic terms, the EcoSport Platinum edition gets a new dual-tone paint scheme with a blacked-out roof, tweaked bumpers and larger 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. In terms of equipment, the Platinum edition gets a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and a DVD player, cruise control, and a rear centre headrest for the third occupant.

As per the updated brochure, the standard EcoSport Titanium+, as previously reported, also gets the same touchscreen infotainment system and reverse camera, with the remaining equipment remaining unchanged. As per dealers, the touchscreen-equipped EcoSport Titanium+ is priced at Rs 9.89 lakh and Rs 10.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol and diesel models respectively.
