This spy picture sent to us by Siva Kumar shows that Hyundai is readying the next generation i20 for a launch in India. The car will have an all-new platform and will be much bigger than the current i20.
In terms of styling, the new i20 will get an evolution of its fluidic design sculpture, and the current car’s 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines are expected to be carried over.
The new i20 will make its debut next year and will compete with the next generation Honda Jazz, which is also slated for a 2014 launch in India.
Hyundai is also actively testing the next-gen i10 and Santa Fe in India.
