Honda will officially launch the all-new 2014 Honda City on January 7, 2014 in New Delhi, followed by a Mumbai launch on January 8, 2014.

This will be one of the first new car launches of 2014, and one of the most important, at least for Honda, as the City has historically been its most important car. Even before the car’s global unveiling on November 25, Honda showrooms had been receiving many inquiries about the new Honda City, and many dealerships even began taking bookings for the new mid-size sedan.
With the new car, the company has focussed on customer feedback, particularly in the areas of cabin space, equipment and interior quality, and most of all with the addition of a diesel variant. Powered by the Amaze’s 98.6bhp 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine, this version will surely have contributed significantly to the immense demand for the new Honda City.

We expect the 2014 Honda City to be priced from Rs 8.5 lakh for the base petrol manual to Rs 11 lakh for the fully loaded VX diesel (both prices ex-showroom), but for the official prices, we’ll have to wait for two more weeks.
