Mercedes will unveil an updated version of its CLS four-door coupe in June.

Our sources tell us that the updated CLS will be shown to the audience for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in late June.

The CLS facelift’s major equipment upgrade will be the inclusion of the new Active Multibeam ILS LED technology which also does duty in the new Mercedes S-Class range.  There will also be a new 9-speed automatic gearbox on offer for select engine options.

The CLS facelift will get modest styling tweaks to its front and rear and is also expected to get the latest version of the COMAND system along with a new controller and a new C-Class inspired steering wheel.

Expect Mercedes to launch the updated CLS in India later this year.
