Maruti Alto 800 VXi gets optional driver airbag
Customers can now opt for a driver airbag on the top-end Alto 800 VXi.

Maruti has added a driver airbag as an option on the top-end Alto 800 VXi variant.
The new VXi trim was launched in June and it comes with additional equipment over the erstwhile LXi top-level trim such as central locking, door side mouldings, full wheel covers, an integrated stereo with USB and four speakers, a left wing mirror and a rear spoiler.
The optional driver Airbag is available at a cost of Rs 18,000 on the VXi variant, which is priced at Rs 3.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
