Updated Etios, Liva Platinum for Brazil get more equipment and refreshed styling; India-spec car may not get all updates.

Toyota is readying India launch of the updated Etios and Liva for a launch aronud the festive season. The refreshed models were recently unveiled in the South American market and the India-spec cars are likely to come with similar updates. This is the second facelift given to the Etios and Liva since their launch way back in 2010.
The carmaker is currently testing the updated cars in India. Upfront, the Etios and Liva Platinum come with an all-new and more prominent V-shaped grille with black inserts and chrome accents. The front bumper is also new and sports a much larger air dam and prominent housing for the fog lamps. It also sports contrasting black plastic inserts which actually gives the car a sportier look. The updated Etios remains more or less the same on the sides, however it does get new 15-inch alloy wheel design. The top-spec model is likely to come with side skirts and a rear spoiler.
On the inside, the Etios Platinum gets an all-black dashboard with piano black trim, an all-new Corolla-like steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The Brazilian-spec Etios also gets cruise control on higher variants. The car sold in the Brazilian market sees a 10hp bump in power from its 1.5-litre petrol engine.
Toyota is likely to bring in the updated Etios and Liva to India this year however, it will continue to come with beige interiors and may not all the equipment seen on the Brazilian car.
