Suzuki has unveiled the new A-Wind concept hatchback at the Thailand Motor Show.

The concept hatch is 3600mm long, 1600mm wide and 1540mm high and has got a 2425mm long wheelbase. The concept rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with 185/55 R16 tyres.  Power comes from a 996cc 3-cylinder petrol engine mated to a CVT gearbox.

The concept is painted in an striking Energy Yellow shade.  The overall exterior stance is more of a tall-boy hatchback which apart from some concept-car bits, looks production ready. Side profile looks simple with a deep character line running across from the rear door to the front fender. The concept gets pull-type door handles seen in other premium hatchbacks. The A-Wind concept’s front gets twin chrome-bars that run along the grille going all the way inside the headlamps.

Interior gets lighter shades and an overall-dual tone theme and the dashboard looks simple yet upmarket with some bits shared with existing Suzuki models like the steering wheel and control knobs. The steering wheel and the CVT gearknob however, are leather wrapped in this concept. The A-Wind concept also features a large touch-screen display that sits in the center above manually operated A/C controls. Interior packaging looks good in terms of rear-seat legroom, headroom as well as boot space.
