Narain Karthikeyan, an ardent fan of performance cars is the new proud owner of the supercar GT-R. Kiminoby Tokuyama, CEO & MD, Nissan Motor India, handed over the keys of the supercar to the fastest Indian on wheels at a ceremony held at the Madras Motor Sports Club, Chennai.
Nissan GT-R is a Multi-performance Supercar of a new of supercars. It not only combines all the conditions of the ‘Supercar’ but also remains as a car whose top-level performance can be enjoyed to the full by anyone, anytime, anywhere. In simple words, the GT-R is an easy car in which to go incredibly fast. It reaches 0-100kph in 3.8sec, and 0-160kph in 8.5sec. The GT-R’s less than stellar power-to-weight ratio of 275bhp per tonne are mind-blowing figures.
The Nissan GT-R has registered the World’s fastest ever laptime for a mass-produced supercar at the Nurburgring circuit, which is less than 7 minutes 30 seconds.
