MG has introduced a battery-as-a-rental (BaaS) scheme for the Cyberster and M9 EVs, which are sold through the manufacturer's more premium 'Select' outlets. With the BaaS scheme, MG has priced the Cyberster at Rs 72.49 lakh and the M9 at Rs 69.99 lakh, which is an upfront price reduction of up to Rs 10.01 lakh. However, a battery rental fee of Rs 8 per km is being charged if this scheme is opted for.

No other changes have been made to the Cyberster or the M9, and they continue to be offered with a 77kWh and a 90kWh battery pack, respectively. The Cyberster is offered with a 580km claimed range and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup that produces 510hp and 725Nm. The M9 offers a 548 km claimed range and a front-axle-mounted (FWD) electric motor that produces 245hp and 350Nm.
